You hear the term dead cat bounce fairly often when it comes to investing. The market has started rebounding today, but I am not sure the pain is over and am wondering if this is more of a dead cat bounce. I am also not sure you can accurately predict a dead cat bounce or if it mostly speculation. Is a dead cat bounce just something you say in hindsight after a rally fizzles? or is it predictable? If it is predictable, what are the signs of a dead cat bounce?
