SP500 index is now down to almost 6800, only barely (0.3%) up from 24 October when it was 6790. And the pattern since October has been - markets go up a bit then suddenly crash in one day, then recover slowly, then crash back again. Basically it has ground to a complete halt after summer rally. Can someone explain what causes such behaviour?
