Edward Jones: Taking over as Manager of Non-Profit Account and They are Asking for Detailed Personal Information

Sorry, no r/EdwardJones subreddit, not sure where to ask: As a result of my new position on a non-profit board, I'm taking over as manager/authorized signer (I don't know what terminology Edward Jones uses) of the non-profit's investment account which is already established and held at Edward Jones. In order to add me to the account, the agent we use told me he wants to talk on the phone and collect my info, to include my PERSONAL income and PERSONAL net worth. I asked to fill out this information online or to see the account agreement paperwork, and he was very reluctant to do that. He insists on talking over the phone. When I asked what type of account we currently have, so I could do some research on the Edward Jones site about requirements, he just said "Eh, it's a business account," which tells me nothing. I realize there are regulatory requirements connected to verifying identity, so I understand they are going to need my SSN, etc. But how is my PERSONAL net worth relevant to the non-profit's account? I have a feeling he wants this info so Edward Jones can try to market their products to me personally, which I refuse to allow. (For anyone wondering, the account is real, the money is real, and this guy is a real CFP, that is all verified without question.) Any thoughts?
