I’m newish to investing. I’m looking for something that I feel should exist but I can’t find it. I want to see what ETF component stocks affected today’s pricing change the most. Something like the top 10 positive contributors and the top 10 negative contributors by weight to that ETF.
If, for instance, stock A is 5% of the ETF and it went up 8%, it would have contributed +0.4% to the fund’s performance. If stock B is 1% of the fund, and went down by 20%, it would have contributed -0.2%.
So, if VOO is down, why? Did Nvidia drop a fair amount and everything else was stable, or did all the banks drop due to a regulation change, etc? I can find S&P 500 movers but, since they are not weighted, it doesn’t tell the story. Not to mention I am looking for this for any given ETF.
Does this exist and my searches suck? Does this not exist because it’s solved another way?
