Should I read "A Random Walk Down Wall Street"?

I have zero knowledge on investment, and this is a common recommendation, and it is even on the suggested books list in this sub. The problem is that, while reading some comments in posts in this sub, they say that the "Random Walk" theory was rejected since the 70s and that its only value is as a piece of history.

I seen similar problems with "An Intelligent investor" which people often also say is far too outdated to be useful outside of a general mentality.

Since I, apparently, cannot trust the book recommendation list, what should I read? Where should I start?
