Asking if anyone can give further insight on buying & selling commodity ETFs like SLV & GLD.
What are the long term & short term capital gains taxes on these ETFs? I know physical commodities are subject to a higher rate of capital gains taxes according to the IRS since they are physical, but what about ETFs? Any additional implications for these types of stocks? Live in WA state in the US for further reference.
