I know the title sounds crazy but today was the day my parents withdrew their money from their previous financial advisor. He had been returning them \~ 7% after fees before inflation for the past decade. They had $2.2m in store with him.
After a few months of talking, they decided they wanted to trust me with their money rather than their previous financial advisor. I don’t want to get in depth to why they made this decision but I’m a very bright kid. I already manage my own portfolio with over 35k invested.
Since I am wanting to go to a top school they’re going to contribute to my 529 plan as much as I make them over the S&P500. They’re both in their 40s so their risk tolerance is decent.
If anyone has any advice, questions, or comments let me know. I know it’s a bit crazy
