What part of investing turned out to be emotionally harder than you expected.?
When I first started investing, I assumed the hardest part would be picking the right assets or timing entries. Over time, I realized that the emotional side was far more challenging. Sitting through drawdowns, resisting the urge to act, and accepting uncertainty tested me in ways I didn’t anticipate..
I’m curious what surprised others the most. What aspect of investing turned out to be emotionally harder than you expected, and how did that realization change your approach over time?
