I have a startup idea but dw I am not selling anything nor do I have built anything. I am just looking around to see if its worth pursuing. Here's my idea...
Its an AI wrapper for equity research analysts with public filings, transcripts and presentations already inbuilt into the software. And the LLM can also get info directly from those docs using agentic RAG to improve accuracy and attention to detail.
Perplexity does have in-built SEC filings but does not have transcripts or presentations nor can you view any of those docs directly. I can bring together all these + news as well to the same platform.
And here's my supposed USP...analysts can generate institutional grade research outputs at a click of a button without prompting at all.
Lets say there's a set of analysis buttons like financial analysis. When you click it...boom! You have the multi-year analysis of all 3 financial statements of that stock and ratios and other related things, essentially giving a cohesive analysis without spending any time prompting to get fragmented outputs.
Can do this for many such cool institutional use-cases, giving an arsenal of analysis outputs in minutes using proper prompt engineering, which honestly analysts shouldn't be bothering about.
Now this gives a neat and repeatable AI workflow for analysts that they can execute with all of their coverage, which is now fragmented, time consuming with half-baked prompting and doc hunting.
Can easily save loads of time without thinking what to ask and how to ask. Let me know if this is worth pursuing and if you, as an analyst, would ACTUALLY PAY to have something like this. TIA :)
