My portfolio finally reached 100,000$ after two years of investing

Hey!

I'm 21, and as the title says I've finally reached 100,000$ (actually around 110,000$ when writing this) after two years of saving and investing. During these years, I've had a 72% return on my money, and 90% of the money that I have used to invest with has been my own, from paychecks and savings. Selfishly, I can't really thank anyone but myself and I'm honestly really proud of myself! This milestone has come at a really good time, as I only just started studying for a masters in uni a few months back. So to reach this, and not have to worry about trying to hit it with my student-economy is really a relief.

During these two years, there's been quite a few ups and down. Times where I lost more than 30,000$ in the span of a week during the tech crash, from days where I earnt it all back. It's been tough at times, moments where I just wanted to forget it all, but I held my breath and as we say in Sweden, had "Is i magen", and it paid of. My biggest and proudest investment has been Alphabet, a company that I've held through AI scandles, crashes and lawsuits.

From here on, I'll probably take it easy with investing. Not only do I not really have any money currently to invest with, as it all goes to rent and food, but I haven't really been checking in on my portfolio in quite a while since I've had bigger fish to fry in my studies, investments and generally just having fun at uni! My next goal is probably 250,000$, which is years away. I know that when I'm done with my studies and get that tech-income, I can get back on that horse and start actively investing again. Until then, I'm just really happy with my achievement and how far I've come.

Thanks for reading, have a great day!
