GOOGL surpassed AAPL. It shows that Tim Cook is due as CEO at Apple.

Yes.. Tim Cook drove AAPL from $380B to $4T. But this is the past.

But here is the story:

Apple has paid tiny dividends and spent most of its cash reserves on buybacks without spending much on CapEx.

However, in contrast to Apple, Microsoft and Alphabet have spent so much on CapEx, but have bought own shares continuously even if their amounts of buybacks were smaller than Apple´s amounts of buybacks.

In 2025, there were literally no buybacks from Microsoft and Alphabet to spend more on AI expenses.

It is laughable and ridiculous that Microsoft and Alphabet -inspite of spending so much on AI- still winning and outperforming Apple.

Now imagine: What if Apple had spent -let´s say- $20B on Siri or its own foundation models instead of $90B buybacks (Apple would have been able to spent $70B on buybacks), Apple would have been rolled out an intelligent on-device AI-based Siri on its own foundation model and Apple would have been the first company in the world to show the world how the on-device AI agentic phone works.

How do you view Apple as investment?

If you view Apple as a consumer staple company like Coca Cola, Tim Cook might be the right CEO

BUT

If you view Apple as a technology company among MAG7, Tim Cook might be a wrong CEO.

I think that AAPL will be surpassed by MSFT sooner or later and exluded from MAG7 as its AI has proven its incompetence.

AI = Apple Intelligence = Apple Incompetence.
