401k, and ESOP rolling over into a Gov 457b or TIRA, advice?

Recently started a new position with the local government, and hoping for some advice. I have a "Retirement Plan" account with my previous employer, and have both pre-tax and after tax funds mixed in. I also have an ESOP, it is a privately traded company, and no dividends.

Currently my plan is to roll over the pre-tax portion of the "Retirement Plan" and ESOP accounts into a Rollover IRA, and then the after tax portion into my Roth IRA.

My question is, is it worth looking more into rolling these two accounts over into my 457b? (The 457b is brand new, has a limited selection of only 25 stocks/bonds/TDFs, and currently defaulted to a 2060 TDF.) Also, I am over the income limit to contribute to a TIRA.

I currently dont plan to retire early, and in the set it and forget it mindset. I dont know if any other information would be helpful or not, but if any is needed I can add it.

Ultimately, is it worth it to roll over these account into a 457b or keep them in a TIRA?
