What mineral/mining companies are in prime position to set up shop in Venezuela?

Politics aside, Venezuela is a country rich in resources (Oil, iron, copper, gold, lumber,etc). They have one of the largest reserves of oil. Oil prices will probably drop by a good amount in the short term especially since if/when the US gets access to it. Apparently the type of oil they have is the type we need here due to our refineries being built for it as opposed to the oil we produce locally and then ship for processing elsewhere.

In addition to oil, there are tons of minerals. Minerals that the US would probably love more than oil. Gold to use in the chips Google, Nvidia, Amazon, and intel (a chip is a chip) is making. Copper is always going to be needed especially as we build out data centers, move more towards EVs, and the need to build new electrical infrastructure.

Someone is going to take advantage of this. Who’s in a prime position to do so? Or would the smarter play be to go for ETFs?
