When and how did Jensen Huang go from Reddit hero to the snake in the grass he is sometimes referred to now?

Do people on Reddit making claims that Jensen Huang is full of shit really think he's nothing more than a conman trying to make a quick buck? Is this anger from not buying Nvidia early enough? Is it anger from the fact that Jensen says nice things about Trump and Elon?
