Excuse my wording, I clearly don't know what im talking about which is why im going to reddit in the first place about this.
I have a long term buy and hold stock from 2003, when I was a baby. Now that I have been saving my money and am able to put it towards stocks, I'm unsure where to start.
I don't know if it would be a smart idea to put more money into this account, as I said it is a DRIP account.
Would the dividends that are being reinvested be enough money to keep the stock growing or?? Should I just put this money towards opening an IRA?? Again please excuse my vocabulary and lack of knowledge. This all kinda just got put in my lap recently. And I want to figure it out. Anything helps. Thank you.
