Precious metals have been on a pretty torrid run lately. Gold and silver just keep grinding higher. That has me wondering about DCA'ing into metals rather than trying to time an entry. I've read a lot of guidance suggesting a 2-5% allocation to gold/silver for diversation, or even 5-10% (if bullish) is a good idea to combat inflation/debt and general risk.
Do others have thoughts on this, especially given the latest prices have gone up quite a bit? In particular, is it smart to DCA now or should I wait for a pullback - if one even happens. Lastly, physical vs. ETFs any preference for either?
