Why do people spend so much on fancy stuff but not on what values the most?
Think about it, someone will spend ₹1.2 lakh on an iPhone but hunt for a cracked ₹299 app. Buy a ₹23 lakh bike but won’t pay ₹500 for Spotify. Spend crores on a wedding but bargain for vegetables.
Why? We don’t buy products. We buy social proof.
The iPhone shows you’ve “made it.” The bike says you’re “different.” The wedding screams status.
In Dubai real estate, it’s the same. People happily drop millions on a flashy property everyone can see, but hesitate to pay a little for expert advice that actually protects their money.
Are we really spending money on things, or just on what others think about it?
