Too late to invest in tech? If so, what other industries should I look into for mid term investment options?

I've never invested in individual stocks or ETF's. All of my investments are retirement or S&P500.

I think I can afford to DCA into some riskier industries now and that's what I'm researching. Tech seems to be incredibly popular. I bought into Crypto back in 2021 when it skyrocketed and ended up getting burned. Not trying to do that again.
