Are investors getting scammed by companies like CVNA, SMCI, PLTR being added to the SP500
Who decides on these. I feel like the entire population of US investors are the exit liquidity for obvious scams
I wrote about the scam that was SMCI over a year ago when it was over $1000, before Hindenburg. I actually worked with this company and knew it was a scam.

Now I don’t have working knowledge of CVNA and it’s scams but I’m 99.9% sure it is, PLTR isn’t something I’d like in my ETF either and I’m sure there’s others but these stand out. TSLA is well I can’t argue with cults on meme stocks.
Is the entire US pension, 401k, retail the exit liquidity for obvious scams now? I know SMCI was added to the Nasdaq 100 but removed with shady accounting but somehow it’s still in the Sp500
