No one tells you how good it feels knowing you've maxed your Roth for the year.
28 yo, hit an income this year where I can max my IRA while also hitting my personal % of HYSA contributions as well. Such a great feeling.
For next year, would the optimal move be maxing the IRA and then open a brokerage account? I would guess that it is smarter to fill the IRA first for time in the market, and only after that would you want to put money into something taxable.
