I have about 9k I am willing to put into investments. I am freshly 20, no job at the moment (current college student). Some of my friends are telling me to max out my Roth before the end of the year and put 7k into it, but I’m also considering putting some into an index fund so that I can have some investments in a place with easier access. What do you guys recommend? I’m definitely interested in long term investment, but also, the idea of not being able to touch that money until wayyy later is a bit scary.
