Im getting started with investing and I have some concerns with privacy

I downloaded robinhood because that was the main app google recommended for investing so i downloaded it and tried to set up an account and I knew I was going to have to give up bank information since how am I going to buy and sell but it was also asking me for a lot of other information i dont believe is relevant to my investing like exact location and social security number and i wanted to ask if this is normal and if not what other investing sites or apps do you recommend? I just dont want to put in sensitive or dangerous information into something I currently dont fully understand .
