Good morning everyone, I've been passionate about finance for some time, having read about twenty books and spent hours watching various podcasts and expert videos. On April 9th, with SWDA at -18%, I wasn't at all scared; in fact, I invested a significant amount of money, fully aware of market forces and with no particular aversion to risk. My question is this: am I the only relatively young and knowledgeable person investing in a Golden Butterfly portfolio? Everyone my age that I see on Reddit always seems to have a much higher percentage of stocks. Are people really that long-term oriented and that indifferent to short-term drops? Or do they simply overestimate their risk tolerance?
