Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some guidance on whether I’m using my money wisely and what I should prioritize next. I am a 29F engineer. Here are my details:
Income - Salary: $113,549.85
HYSA: $32,973.20 (3.49%)
401(k): $179,046.36 total balance
- Contributing 15%
- Company match: 100% of first 3% + 50% of next 3%
HSA: $6,730.06 total
- $2,145.85 cash
- $4,584.22 invested
Vanguard Traditional IRA (post-tax contributions): $54,029.74
- $35,916.67 contributions
- $18,113.06 investment returns
A few things I’m wondering:
1) Am I allocating my savings in the right places?
2) Should I be adjusting retirement contributions or shifting more to taxable investing?
3) Is my HYSA balance too high or too low for an emergency fund?
4) Should I be optimizing my HSA differently?
5) Any big gaps or missed opportunities?
I’d love any insight on what I should be doing next to improve long-term financial health. Thank you!
