Could the market theoretically reach a cap that it could NEVER go past?

Maybe more of a theoretical exercise than practical thinking, but the Earth holds a finite number of resources and available space. A fraction of the global population will probably always remain not in a position to purchase things.

The industrial revolution was what, 170ish years ago with massive expansion since? How many more decades or centuries do you think the market has before it just can't do anymore?

Or will they just start selling Pepsi on Mars at that point?
