Don’t want to hold physical gold. What Gold stocks not miners, to buy in trustworthy brokerage

I have a small amount of physical gold/silver coins but I don’t want to any more. What trustworthy gold can I buy in schwab or fidelity like buying FBTC for my mom because she doesn’t/can’t hold understand btc. What is the equivalent for gold for her.

EDIT: COSTCO might be an option, never done it but they seem to make it easy and 2% of spot price seems not great but ok. Anyone do that?
