So my Fidelity account just showed a bunch of weird stuff for my FSPTX fund. It says short-term gain, long-term gain, and then something got reinvested. I didn’t actually buy anything, but my shares went from around 150 to 160.
Is that basically a dividend? I honestly don’t really know what a capital gains distribution is supposed to be.
