Not an investor or anything - just having late-night-can’t-sleep ponderings: Did any industry benefit from the dotcom bubble bursting? I know 9/11 puts a twist in this tale because obviously the arms trade had a big boost, so maybe it’s harder to tell? Theoretically, if the AI bubble bursts (which seems to be a subject under some contention), would any other industries, or even other tech subsections, be set to benefit?
