I can't seem to find a definitive answer on this. Multiple threads say differently.
In my case, I bought around 1500 AMD in 2022. Last December 2024, I sold all 1500 ($130 avg) and rebought it immediately ($115 avg). If I were to sell the 1500 shares now, would it be subject to long term (2022 initial purchase) or short term (2024 wash sale repurchase)?
