Does anyone actually recommend doing IRA Roth backdoor?

I am thinking of backdooring my traditional into a roth , I am 31 years old and I make more than what a Roth IRA allows me. So I was thinking of investing yearly 7000 into the traditional IRA and instantly turn it into a Roth. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it recommended? I am talking about individual IRA, not work. Also, how more conplex will filling taxes be ?
