For a lump like $80K+, just wondering what's the basic strategies if any to follow on timing (is this "timing the market" ?) : whether to wait for signs of coming dips/drops or just fire on the current price: place the buy and get in the game ?
e.g. VOO was $20 cheaper 2 months ago, I had the money sitting in SWVXX all summer.
