I'm going to have interview in investing bank for software developer role. I actually already have two of those, but they didn't have budget at the time so they didn't hire me. I used to work for other investment bank so I have some basic knowledge, I'm looking to refresh my memory. I don't need to become expert, I would like something explaining what instrument is, when and why is used and how each side of trade behave, example:
Credit default swaps - swap floating interest rate for fixed, one side eliminate risk of changing interest, other want to profit from difference.
