Please let me know if this is not the right sub. I (USA) have a gf who lives in Cambodia as a native. I've searched but can't find any investment options there. So I advised her to start an emergency fund and put it in woori bank 'hysa' for their fixed deposit rates at the time they were offering 7%. I'm trying to save up for her as well here using Schwab's snsxx. I've already called Schwab and fidelity and altho they claim international account options they really don't unless for expats. I can open a bank account in Cambodia and get 5-7% interest but only if I have business purposes there which I don't. Does anyone have any input? Tia
