Hey everyone,
I’m in my late 20s. My parents worked hard their whole lives but were always too afraid to invest, they kept everything in the bank and missed out on decades of growth. I don’t want to repeat that. I want to be courageous, take calculated risks, and build real wealth over the long term.
Here’s my situation:
Savings: $35k.
Goal: Compounding wealth over 15+ years.
I’ve narrowed it down to two ETF strategies:
Option 1 – Aggressive Growth
75% global stocks (VWRA)
10% global small caps
10% bonds
5% gold
Option 2 – Aggressive Balanced
65% global stocks (VWRA)
10% Nasdaq-100
15% bonds
10% gold
If you were me, would you go all-in on growth and ride out the storms, or take the balanced path for peace of mind? I want to make it not just for myself, but to break the cycle of fear I grew up around. I’d love your advice.
