This is a pretty pedestrian question though I've been investing for about four decades so I'm embarrassed to ask. But I'm quite frustrated and haven't found an adequate solution myself.
I've used Yahoo finance for years, but it's just getting too buggy. (What's with these crazy graphs that show micro crashes, then ruin the scale so the real data isn't visible?)
I want:
* price graphs for shares and options, including comparisons and trends and advanced charting
* options pricing ("options chain") would be nice
* news stories from reliable and free sources
* easy to find earnings and dividend dates
* historic data about pricing and dividends
* fundamentals: profile, financials, analysts reports (price targets and recommendations), ...
Yahoo! does almost all of this, but it's full of bugs and cumbersome. Never gets better.
What other sites are around? It seems like there's tons of crap that's actually *worse* than Yahoo Finance. What's *better*?
