The FED cut rates by 25 bps on 9-17-2025. My APY let me know what that means.

The affects of the Feds monetary policy is already being felt.

Just learned the Annual Percentage Yield (APY) in my Robinhood brokerage cash sweep program, which allows uninvested cash to earn interest, decreased from 4.5% to 3.75%, on 9-24-2025. Seven days since the FEDs FOMC meeting.

Am I doing the math wrong or is that a 3X decrease based on the FEDs quarter percentage cut?
