Insvestment Insurance - Questions

I am not even sure how to explain this (I am unsure if there's a term in English for it), but I made a life insurance back in 2019 called "Investment insurance", where my money gets invested every month. I did not know much about finance back then (deff not an expert now, but still), but since the sum was like $60 usd a month, I just let it go and even forgot about it.

Fast forward 6 years, I have around $4k in that "insurance", but after learning more about it and how it works, it seems like there is no point to keep "investing" because I already have more than $20k in VWCE alone. These kind of insurance are characterized by their high fees and, from what I have ready, they are not worth it.

Does anyone have any experience with these products, and if so, what's your advice? Obviously $60 is not much and I can just keep paying it, but I wonder if it's even worth it, considering the situation.

My insurance is with MetLife by the way.
