20 years old, thought it would be time to get into investing…I want to go for a 60/40 split S&P 500 index fund and the 40% into growth stocks. The four stocks I am thinking of is:
BYD - leading EV company, went public this year and USA China trade agreement is promising
NRG - Energy company that recently made a 12 billion acquisition deal
VSTRA - Energy company positioning themselves to power the AI boom
NVIDIA - They are positioned pretty well and will have high demand for their chips
MICROSOFT - Heavily investing into AI and cloud computing e.g. azure
Either gonna go with NRG or VSTRA, probably VSTRA for long term growth
I am investing for the long term and so all these companies I see sticking around for a long time. Going to do more research, but what are your thoughts?
