I am new to the investing world. One of the first things I would like to do is to find a stock that I can invest in for the benefit of my child who is due later this year. I would be looking for one that I could leave for several years and could periodically add more money to.
I hope this makes sense, and would love for some insight into what stocks or long term investments you think would be a good idea for this.
