Container rates collapsing — early sign to reduce U.S. exposure?

Container shipping prices from China are down sharply:

* 🇨🇳→🇺🇸 West Coast: 📉 **$5,100 (Nov ‘24)** → **$2,200–3,500 (May ‘25)** [source]()
* 🇨🇳→🇪🇺 Europe: 📉 **$4,500** → **$2,500–3,300** [source]()

This could hint at softening U.S. demand, trade slowdown, or pre-tariff hoarding.
Not COVID-level disruption, but potentially an early red flag.

**Question:** Would you reduce U.S. exposure (e.g. S&P 500) because of this?
