Hey Everyone,
I’m just looking for some feedback or different perspectives. Do you guys believe in sticking with a traditional 401(k), even though the growth can be kind of slow and limited depending on the plan? Especially when you don’t have a great match or investment options?
Or do you prefer setting up something like your own Roth IRA through Fidelity (or similar) and just buying your own index funds, ETFs, or even individual stocks — and letting it sit and grow long-term?
I get that if your job does offer a good match, that’s technically free money… but I’m curious what most people here actually do in practice. Appreciate any thoughts.
