Seems like crowd equity is not the most beloved form of investing, wondering why from others opinions or if they disagree? Online its all sunshine and rainbows from pro-crowdequity blogs probably funded by the platforms then offhand comments on the few remaining forums about how it's not real investing or trash.
So what do you think?
Also, on this form of investing as a community I am surprised there aren't that many specialized events for it? It's not super new so anyone got recommendations for some events for crowd equity investing?
StartEngine seems like a solid place to start with something on rails as a platform and community but wondered if there are any specific events or at least ones with strong crowd equity investing tracks? Maybe to learn more on how to gauge startup potential from crowdequity specifically? Or just straight into trading more than say noodling my 401k.
Heck I'd even be open to bootstrapping an event through my side travel agency to do it if it's not really a thing for crowd equity which is appealing to me.
I pitched my friends on some names because my internet search was meh in my area and they HATED my first name for something on a cruise.
Backer Summit Cruise they countered with Venture Summit Cruise and then the names started flying around so I'd also love some tie breakers from here if any of you have thoughts lol.
Any of these + Cruise ending sound okay?
Backer, Venture, Equity, Capital, Portfolio, Founders, Investor, Startup or Angel + Cruise?
Sticking with cruise because its what I know if I am going to have to plan something myself vs getting the ez life and attending some event somewhere a few of you may recommend?
