I am 29 years old, have a stable job with 3000k income per month in lisbon. I dont pay rent as i live in my parent's house and start investing in etfs 3 years ago and got 30.000 savings in a diversified portofolio. Something that got my attention are houses in plan as they are must cheaper and seem a good thing to invest for the future, and i would like to have a house of mine to not be dependent of my parents or my girlfriend (who has a house in lisbon already) and one cant predict the future of relationships....This house is 400.000 in lisbon surroundings, 30min from my work (which could be a down point, as now i live 15min from it) in a place that will have a future metro station in 3 years and will have all commodities of modern live (a+, pool, gym...). In 2028 i will have a big increase of salary probably around 5-10k month so the timming is perfect to borrow money from the bank at that time. All they ask is 20k now and at 6,12 and 18 months. My parents can help me at the first and second payments. Should i keep investing in etfs or start investing in plan houses? The constructor is good with lots of buildings made with sucess. Other option is finding something nearby the workplace but everything with that price is more than 20 years old and most without private parking
