When you invest, do you invest all your money at one time or have a DCA strategy of some sort?
I've always been hesitant to jump in with both feet and invest all at once. If I invest in a particular stock, I tend to put in a 1/3 of my amount allocated to that stock. If it drops 20%, I invest another 1/3 and so on. I do try to use some technicals to gauge buy points, but utilize more of a DCA strategy.
When selling, I tend to sell part of my position, so I'm not "all-in" or "all-out" unless I'm ready to move onto another position entirely. Just try to manage risk and cab have 10-20 positions at any given time.
How do you approach your investment strategy and risk?
