Would anyone actually play a dividend investing game?

I had one of those late-night ideas where I thought, "There are so many investing games for actively trading, why are there no good investing games for dividend investing?"

I realize it is probably because dividend investing is super slow and boring, and that is kinda hard to make any kind of "game" out of.

BUT, what if instead of being like a paper trading game, it uses simulated fake stocks, and in the game time goes by way faster like 100-500 times as fast as real life. (or whatever makes sense)

So it would be played kind of like an idle game where you just log in occasionally to manage your simulated portfolio.

It could be a great way to get people into investing with a healthier long-term mindset instead of trying to daytrade or something.

It could also be a good teaching tool as the simulated stocks would have similar traits as real stocks. For example, there could be dividend traps included to teach people to avoid those, there could be high risk high reward stocks with high volatility, and lower-risk, lower-reward stocks with low volatility.

I personally could see myself enjoying such a game and I have checked and nothing quite like what I'm imagining exists out there.

I thought I would ask Reddit to see if anyone agrees with me that a game like that could be fun/useful.

Also, if you have any extra ideas on how the game could work or other features it could have to make it more fun and educational I would also love to hear those!

TL;DR I want to make an idle-type dividend investing game with simulated stocks and am wondering if anyone else thinks it's a good idea or just me.
