It’s been nearly one month since the bottom was set. During that time, the market and retail participants were pricing in a doomsday scenario with “empty selves” in grocery stores and today, retail investors are discouraging others from DCA’ing into stocks because they’re still holding onto this “empty selves” belief.
They’re also acting like Trump will purposely dump the market tomorrow, and if not tomorrow, the day after. It’s been a while since Trump has swayed the market like he did a month ago.
Moral of story, doomsday scenarios are easier to sell than a recovery and the market likes to do the less obvious ;)
Let’s keep our emotions straight and stop whining about politics and focus on actual investing.
If we were here for investing, we’d invite the markets to drop so we can get cheaper prices, not complain. People who are complaining are those who’re trying to get rich overnight. Sorry your options didn’t pay out
