I tax loss harvest across VTI and ITOT in my own brokerage account, but I also have a vanguard 401k that buys VSMPX. Given I’d be buying that every 30 days or so, automatically, I'll probably be creating a bunch of wash sales, right?
I know this is probably a grey zone, but in general, how do people prevent this?! Maybe you can’t?
