Software/website that supports stock tracking per category and location ?

What is the most efficient way of tracking investments while being able to aggregate values per category (cap size, growth, etc) and location (Roth, IRA, taxable). Unfortunately I am dealing with accounts from multiple providers that I cannot consolidate into a single company. I do not mind creating a spreadsheet if a good template exists.TIA.
