I just got employed and I want to save money. The common advice is to invest in the SP500 and just forget about it. But with the political climate in the US right now it feels dangerous. I have a feeling a civil war or a dictatorship is coming. Will I be able to get my money out if such a thing were to happen? What other non-US options are there? I am from the EU btw.
