Obviously any artform is a much riskier investment than a lot of stocks. With the exception of genre fair that can be shot for very little and possibly have huge returns if they can secure good distribution, most films lost money, and short films, while a very valuable artistic practice have about a 0% chance of making a return.
So where do people who are interested in being involved in that kind of investing (perhaps a generous word for it, maybe better described as donating or being a patron) congregate online?
Surely there must be a place for people to connect over such things, and if not, it should be created!
